Here you will find entertaining short fiction in a variety of genres and lengths. Some have twists at the ending, many have humor and most have a mixture of elements. This is a family friendly site for all ages, though the writing is mostly on an adult level. Occasionally I venture into the horror genre, but it should be moderate enough for all readers.
This is a pay-to-read site that costs only 75 cents per story! Any story, any length! No subscription or personal information needed. How many sites want to charge a dollar or more per story, per chapter of a novel? Here you get as much entertainment for six bits. More for your money. And you can read the first story for free!
Use this site as conveniently as a vending machine. Just make a payment of 75 cents first, then read a story. Each image has the title, followed by a brief description to help you make an informed decision.
A blog is available for comments on any story. Criticism is welcome if it is constructive. Please keep all comments ‘family friendly’. Inappropriate language will be deleted. Your consideration is appreciated.

About Me
When I was young, reading a good book or a good short story was like spending time with a good friend. Better in some ways. A story could lead you through adventures of all kinds, make you laugh, scare you, surprise you. It could teach you lessons about real life or take you to another world. All of us could use a friend like that right now (and anytime).
​ As I grew up I became interested in creative writing. I enjoy the creative flow and want to re-create the enjoyment I felt as a young reader. I recently retired from a career in telecommunications and want to concentrate on writing full time. I have honed my writing style for years and my stories are now ready for an audience.
